She had a "constant smile". Red hair, dimples. Left behind her 8 year old brother. Catherine loved nature, bugs, and animals of all kinds. Their family dog, Sammy of 14 years suffered from arthritis. Catherine would get underneath of Sammy and help her up and help her around. One week after Catherine passed, Sammy took ill and needed to be put to sleep. When Mom asked her brother if he would like to say anything to Sammy beforehand, he got down on the ground in Sammy's face and said "Say Hi to Catherine for me." Catherine dreamed of running an animal shelter and even made her own business cards. The Hubbard family is making that dream come true.
